POWER MEMORIAL PARK

Public BBQ

This park is a bustling hub of activity that offers something for everyone. Conveniently located near shops and cafes, it's also directly accessible to a patrolled beach. Families frequent the shaded play area that features unique equipment, including a ping pong table. Visitors appreciate the ample facilities like clean toilets, well-maintained public showers, and wheelchair-friendly walking paths to beach-level lookouts. The park also comes alive every Saturday morning with Parkrun events. Although parking can be a challenge, especially on weekends, the hassle seems worth it for the spectacular ocean views and occasional wildlife sightings, including birds and even scrub turkeys. However, be cautious of the area's occasional graffiti and high risk of venomous snakes like Red Belly Blacks and Eastern Browns. Overall, it's a space that caters to a variety of interests and ages, making it a must-visit spot for a perfect day out.
